I eventually moved in three days later, and in the three months that followed, I had no inkling of anything amiss. Unlike the typical haunted house story, odd things didn’t happen while I was fixing up the place. No objects moved on their own accord, no doors would creak open and slam mysterious shut, no whispery voices or loud footsteps would be heard through out the night.
In fact, the house seemed to have a sort of welcoming glow. I may not be psychic, but I could always sense the character of a certain house.
